POS Setup Without Ethernet
Make sure your point of sale system is setup correctly. This option walks you through how to setup the point of sale without requiring an ethernet port for the point of sale itself. Please note you will still need one ethernet chord to properly connect your credit card terminal.
Above is a video walkthrough detailing how to make sure your OnTrac POS is properly connected and communicating with your PAX credit card terminal. This setup does not require ethernet connection into the printer connectivity hub, but please note ethernet is needed to connect with the red dongle from the credit card terminal.
Another important note to double check is to make sure your iPad is connected to the same WiFi network that is providing service to the ethernet chord connected to your credit card terminal.
